- A solution
for the scrap tire problem: 48” x
250’ flat carrying truss conveyor for the CEMEX plant in
Apasco, (near Mexico City). The conveyor,
built by Dover, features a “gravity take-up”
option. Dover’s integrated materials handling
solution to metering scrap tires into a cement kiln. The
scrap tires are used as a 10-15% supplemental fuel in the manufacture
of cement and is completely used during this process.
